Create Categories

Categories are a great way to organize content on your site. When you create new posts, you can provide a clear way for your site’s visitors to access specific content by using categories. Think of categories as large organizational topics or subject headers for organizing information. For example, when you go to the Help Page on this site, you can see all of the posts that are categorized as Help.

To create new categories, go to Dashboard > Posts > Categories.

On the left-hand side of the Categories page, you will see an option to Add New Category and a box to insert the new Name for the category. Enter the name in the box and then hit Enter or click on Add New Category button. You’ll see your new category appear on the list on the right-hand side of the Categories page.
